I Bought it Here:

We take every possible precaution to make sure Fayette County Additive offers the easiest hotend upgrade around. We test retraction before shipping, we assemble it hot at the shop, and maintain a library of firmware for as many machines as we can. We think we're pretty great, and have one of the most robust quality control programs around.

But things happen. You might have issues with clogs (remember, metal hotends hate long retracts) or have a part not working like it should.

When that happens, we stand behind our products. We can help you diagnose the issue (because 3D printing can be hard, even for the best of us), or you can return your faulty product for a full refund for a month after you've received it. Just send it back in its original box and we'll refund you as soon as we get it.

It's important to us that buying from Fayette County Additive is as easy and risk-free as possible.

I Bought it Somewhere Else:

People like to modify their machine, and we understand that. Sometimes it's a neccessity. It isn't uncommon for a printer, especially consumer level printers like the ender series, to ship with an aluminum heatbed so warped that it frankly isn't possible to use it. Hotend modifications are another culprit, because most machines include a Teflon liner in the hot end which significantly limits it's operating temperature which is less than ideal.

The good news is, there are tons of resources avaliable to help with this. Including reddit, youtube, and your 3D printer's facebook group. Try out one of our printer repair protocols found under resources. Hopefully that will do you some good.
